Mindfulness and Balance

Children aren't physically designed to sit for long periods of time.


Our brains learn best when our bodies move.



Practising mindfulness helps us spiritually, mentally and physically.




We had just spent 20 minutes on our laptops enquiring into Roman numerals, and then shared our new discoveries. Since we were about to embark on more laptop time for our personal enquiries, we needed a break from screen time.



So, we watched and followed a woman demonstrating how to make power poses, how to use our bodies to gain energy and how to focus on our breath at the end for mindfulness.





We loved the 'grunting' power noises filling our souls.
